This album is an intimate and stripped-down work — a gentle dive into a personal and sincere sonic universe. Carried by the warm tones of my guitar — sometimes a clean electric sound, sometimes nylon with a soft, muted touch — it follows a minimalist, almost confidential aesthetic. At times, a fretless bass delicately wraps around the melodies, adding smooth roundness and subtle depth to the whole.
The album naturally leans towards jazz, but never confines itself to any strict genre. Here, melody takes center stage, guiding each piece with sensitivity. Improvisation plays a key role, offering spontaneous and vibrant breaths — especially on the final track, a free and inspired tribute to Maurice Ravel, where the spirit of the composer intertwines with my own musical language.
It’s a record to be listened to with eyes closed — like a whisper, an inner conversation between the strings, the silences, and the emotions.
Thank you for listening — I hope this music resonates with you as deeply as it took shape within me.
